Chief engineer responsible for the concept, detail design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of the dual target motion system for MBDA's RF HWIL facility which included the design of the long curved carbon fibre beams and drive carriages. Complete turnkey system included the controller, HMI, real time interface and associated software. Proven to be exceptionally reliable for the last 20 years.
This system has been used to develop Meteor and SeaCeptor amonst other missiles developed by MBDA
Fufilled contract to design, manufacture, and install a large dual target motion system for a Swiss company on an overseas project. The contract included the integration management of the host building, anechoic chamber and Flight Motion System (FMS)
Provided a number of design concepts including a satellite panel printer, pitch, yaw & surge gimbal, FMS RAM shield and F1 motion system (not shown due to NDA)
