Were given the opportunity to present various concepts for a F1 simulator platform.
The requirement was to present concepts for a three axis platform for pitch, roll and heave movements.
We provided three concepts which the team had not even thought of and was given a contract to develop the concepts further.The chosen concept was for three linear motors arranged 120 degrees apart actuating struts with ball joints to the motion platform. Using high performance linear motors the dynamic performance was exceptional!
